This collaborative performance brings together the soulful sounds of Shades of Praise, New Orleans' renowned gospel choir, and the uplifting harmonies of NOLA Vox, the city's official Barbershop Harmony Society chapter. The concert will showcase a dynamic mix of musical styles that highlight the vibrancy and depth of New Orleans’ artistic legacy.

Founded in 2023, NOLA Vox is dedicated to enriching lives through vocal harmony in New Orleans, welcoming singers of all backgrounds and focusing on a repertoire that spans multiple genres. With an emphasis on local artists and music that reflects the spirit of New Orleans, NOLA Vox is committed to preserving and promoting the city’s musical traditions.

Shades of Praise, established in 2000,is New Orleans' interracial gospel choir. They perform contemporary gospel music in the African-American style, introducing gospel to wider audiences across racial and denominational boundaries. Their mission is to forge relationships that dispel stereotypes and create racial harmony.
